This position works out of a Remote location in the Cardiometabolic and Informatics. Our rapid diagnostics solutions are helping address some of the world’s greatest healthcare challenges.

As the Interface Analyst, you’ll have the chance to work on remote implementation and maintenance of the interface between the RALS data management system and the hospital Laboratory Information System (LIS)

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Achieve competency with the RALS data management system to include the RALS-ADT and RALS-LIS InterfacesBased on specifications provided by end-user, tailor the RALS-LIS generic scripts to allow the successful transmission of results to the Laboratory Information System (LIS)Patient ID handling and validationComment handlingResult range and critical handlingSingle and multi-analyte profile and result handlingCustomer specific situational requirementsUnderstand the requirements and differences of a terminal emulation interface and an HL7 interfaceTailor each interface according to the different LIS requirementsParticipate in internal script review for each tailored interface provided to end userManage workload to meet end user and HIS/LIS vendor test and go-live timelinesOwn and manage individual projects as well as function as a resource for larger project teamsManage customer expectations and provide ongoing customer supportResponsible for mandatory weekly time tracking/recording of specific activities such as project work, training, etc. to ensure financial & business complianceProvide after-hours project support as neededComplete other assigned projects/tasks as necessary.

 EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

Required

Technical Associates Degree in networking/software-related fieldGeneral understanding of coding conceptsExperience with Jave or JavaScriptHL7Familiarity with remote connectivity and network communication protocols

Preferred

BA/BS preferredPrevious experience with Object-Oriented ProgrammingMIRTH or NexGenExperience with LIS/HIS systems such as Meditech, Cerner, Epic, etc. is strongly preferredDatabase management experienceFamiliarity with Visual Basic 6

The base pay for this position is $60,000.00 – $120,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
