What You Can Expect
This is a central role in EMEA IC COE Team that will oversee, manage, and execute a variety of intercompany activities. The individual in this role will own activities ranging from preparing and executing IC GBS and BPO recharges and accruals, IC balance sheet account reconciliation to IC month-end-close tasks and of IC out-of-balances resolution. EMEA IC Sr Specialist will have a deep understanding of intercompany processes and possess strong problem-solving skills. The individual in this role will be in contact with Country Controllers, Corporate Accounting Team, Tax and Treasury, BPO provider and other GBS IC COE Teams.
How You'll Create Impact Responsible for Intercompany Period End Close for EMEA entities in scope: Intercompany Reconciliation: reconcile intercompany GL account balances between various entities to ensure that transactions are properly recorded and eliminate any discrepancies. This involves comparing transactions recorded by different entities and resolving any differences or inconsistencies.Prepare Intercompany Recharges for GBS and BPO Services.Prepare monthly allocation charges and share the information with the Controllers and respective countries.Prepare monthly reconciliation of those recharges and present during the month end close.Coordinate cost allocation and recharges of monthly GBS and BPO costs. Create Invoices. Prepare accruals if required. Control and Compliance: Execute requirements for SOX controls and compliance reporting, and manages review process. Ensure all intercompany activities adhere to company policies and financial regulations, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.Oversee the work of BPO IC COE Team responsible for EMEA Entities in scope.Ensure GBS & BPO Interco RTR process are incorporated and followed, updated and monitored for maximum efficiency. Oversee and coordinate the TP adjustment process performed by BPO Provider.Support Internal and External Audit & Tax support Maintain required documentation (Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Desktop Procedures, and Training Records).Execute process improvementsPerform other operational tasks assigned by Supervisor;
