The Intercompany Specialist will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of intercompany transactions for the Group, ensuring compliance with internal policies, transfer pricing rules, and applicable tax regulations. This role will take full ownership of the calculation, accounting, invoicing, settlement, and reconciliation of intercompany recharges and balances, including assisting with the remediation of legacy transactions.
The position will also support, maintain, and enforce the Group’s intercompany and cost allocation policies, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all entities
What you will be doing:
Intercompany Transaction Management Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of intercompany recharges, including calculation, accounting entries, invoicing, settlement, and reconciliation. Review and approve intercompany journal entries in compliance with Group policies and IFRS/local GAAP requirements. Cost Allocation & Recharge Policies Take ownership of central cost allocation and ensure they are in line with the TP policies Maintain intercompany schedules, allocation matrices, and supporting documentation to substantiate charges to group entities. Tax Compliance & Withholding Tax Management Identify, monitor, and execute withholding tax requirements for cross-border transactions. Liaise with respective teams to ensure appropriate treatment of indirect taxes (VAT/GST) and compliance with jurisdictional tax laws. Maintain an audit-ready trail of all intercompany transactions for tax authority reviews. Legacy Transaction Remediation Assist with the identification, classification, and documentation of historic intercompany transactions and balances. Reconstruct supporting evidence for legacy entries and work with local finance teams to agree on settlement plans. Governance & Process Improvement Ensure all intercompany processes align with Group policies, transfer pricing documentation, and statutory requirements. Implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce reconciliation issues, and improve reporting quality
Who we are looking for:
4+ years in shared services, or multinational organisation Relevant higher education qualifications in Finance or related fields CPA or equivalent professional certification required Experience in the BPO industry is advantageous Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS and/or local GAAP). Experience with multi-entity, multi-currency environments. Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or equivalent).
