Essential Responsibilities
Read, understand and absorb materials on user needs, mental models, working contexts business and technical requirementsSupport the creation of visualizations that summarize key insights related to user and customer needs and behaviorsSupport participatory design activities to understand and validate assumptions about user needs and behaviorsSupport the creation of concepts that respond to the captured validated requirementsCreate annotated prototypes or wireframes of user interface designs that visually and textually communicate the behavior of the software applicationCreate visual designs in Figma that utilize our EDS (Ethos Design System) to ensure consistency across productsSupport effective documentation and communication of design - via wireframes, mockups, prototypes, user stories in Rally and ConfluenceParticipate in research and evaluation of designs with external and internal usersQualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant design discipline (Interaction Design, UX/UI Design, Industrial Design, Visual Communications or related field) and/or equivalent work experience4 years of documented professional work in user experience design, preferably in healthcareExperience with end-to-end development of digital products and solutionsExperience collaborating with diverse and cross-functional teams in a dynamic and global environmentDesired Characteristics
Demonstrated facility with Agile / Lean UX methodologiesAttention to detail – can create pixel perfect assetsFamiliar with standard design & wireframing tools (Figma, Adobe CC, OmniGraffle, Axure), hand drawing and visual communication, time-based and interactive prototyping tools, especially those that are AI drivenAbility to use generative techniques (sketching, brainstorming, etc.) to establish a variety of possible design scenariosFor U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $132,000.00-$198,000.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
