This role sits at the intersection of Intel architecture and Lenovo’s Data Center portfolio, working closely with customers, partners and internal teams to drive HPC and service‑provider solutions through the full sales cycle.
ResponsibilitiesOpportunity Identification: Act as a trusted advisor to uncover and define Intel HPC and Service Provider projects within your account set.
Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a healthy, forward‑looking pipeline of HPC and service provider opportunities.
Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and deepen relationships with senior technical and business stakeholders (CIOs, CTOs, Technical Directors).
Requirements Analysis: Gather and interpret customer technical and business requirements to craft tailored solution architectures.
Solution Design & Collaboration: Work with Lenovo presales, sales teams and partners to design, validate and present winning proposals.
Tender Leadership: Lead or contribute expert technical input to RFIs, RFPs and tender responses.
Proof‑of‑Concept Execution: Drive technical POCs—configuring, testing and validating Lenovo Data Center solutions for performance and fit.
Sales‑Cycle Support: Provide ongoing technical guidance—presentations, demos, pricing advice—through to profitable deal closure.
QualificationsDegree: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
Experience: 5+ years in customer‑facing technical sales within datacenter environments (storage, servers, networking, solutions).
Intel Expertise: Proven depth in Intel architecture and HPC/service provider platforms.
Technology Mastery: Strong grasp of server, storage and networking technologies—including system virtualization and hyper‑converged infrastructure.
POC Leadership: Hands‑on track record leading technical proofs‑of‑concept with Data Center products.
Presentation Skills: Ability to create and deliver clear, compelling technical presentations to senior‑level audiences.
Languages: Excellent verbal and written English plus local language (Spanish or Portuguese).
Mindset & Mobility: Entrepreneurial, self‑starter attitude with adaptability in a fast‑paced environment and willingness to travel across Iberia.
