Role Synopsis
The Integrity Engineer Intern will support the integrity team in maintaining safe and reliable operations across bp Oman assets. This role offers hands-on exposure to integrity management systems, inspection planning, corrosion monitoring, and risk assessment processes. The intern will assist in data analysis, reporting, and coordination of integrity activities under the guidance of experienced engineers. This internship provides a structured learning path to build technical expertise in asset integrity and prepare for a career in engineering.
Key Accountabilities
Assist in planning and execution of inspection and monitoring programs.Support corrosion data analysis and reporting.Participate in risk-based inspection (RBI) reviews and updates.Help maintain integrity databases and documentation.Contribute to failure investigation and root cause analysis activities.Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure integrity compliance.Prepare technical reports and presentations to support decision-making.Engage in learning and development activities to build engineering competencies.Essential Education
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.Omani national.Minimum CGPA of 2.8Open for 2023, 2024, 2025 graduates.Essential Experience and Job Requirements
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Good communication and teamwork abilities.Basic understanding of asset integrity principles and tools.Desirable Criteria
Interest in corrosion, inspection, and integrity management.Experience with engineering software or data analysis tools.Ability to work collaboratively across disciplines.Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
