We are seeking the brightest minds to join our experienced team working on one of the nation’s most complex engineering programs. The JP9347 Joint Interface Control (JIC) System Project is a key program for Raytheon Australia and as such we are seeking an Integration Verification and Validation Lead for the JP9347 verification program.
This is an exciting opportunity for the right Integration Verification & Validation Lead to play an instrumental role in creating the future of Joint Data Networks in Australia. The JP9347 JIC System program provides an assured exchange of tactical, operational and strategic data across the Joint Force and coalition partners; including Situational Awareness (SA) and Command and Control (C2) information.
This role will lead the planning and execution of the logical and progressive IV&V of component elements into sub-systems, and systems, as well as the integration of the system with external interfaces. This includes the development and execution of plans and procedures.
The IV&V Lead will provide requirements and design support to the engineering team where they understand and apply systems engineering methods, and is familiar with the technology that is the basis for the system and its interfaces to ensure smooth and comprehensive integration and formal testing of functionality.
The IV&V Lead will utilise their expertise in the current phase of the project, taking cognisance of cost and schedule constraints whilst ensuring adherence to processes set down by the Systems Engineering Discipline Lead.
**_Key Responsibilities_**
+ Create, document and execute integration, verification and validation activities.
+ Elicit / refine / document requirements and create verification statements for requirements.
+ Perform technical risk analysis as required and plan, document and execute verification and validation activities.
+ Develop Verification procedures
+ Execute and Lead a team during testing with customer involvement
+ Preparing final reports for customer approval
+ Participate in major reviews throughout the lifecycle, including Test Readiness Reviews, Physical and Functional Configuration Audits, as well as participating in peer reviews.
+ Utilising ingenuity, creativity and resourcefulness to ensure that cost and schedule constraints are managed.
**_Skills, Experience and Qualifications_**
+ At least 8 years’ experience in an Engineering discipline including involvement in one or more of the following Engineering practices:
+ Requirements Definition, Requirements Management, Requirements Analysis, Design, Integration, and Verification and Validation.
+ Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) (desirable)
+ Ability to work independently under limited supervision.
+ Demonstrated ability to collaborate with numerous stakeholders
+ Initiative, motivation and desire to achieve
+ Knowledge of Systems Engineering Standards (EIA-632 or ISO/IEC 15288)
+ Familiarity with Systems Engineering Tools (e.g. DOORS, Cameo Systems Modeler),
+ Intermediate skills in office information systems applications such as Microsoft Office
+ Tactical Data Link and RF technologies
