Raytheon’s Naval Systems Department within Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) is seeking a Senior Principal Systems Engineer to join the Radar Product Line’s (RPL) SPY6 Family of Radars Test Architecture team as a technical liaison for Integration and Test related scope supporting RPL teams. The Systems Engineer will aid the test architect in defining and enforcing test and integration strategies across the product line programs. The Senior Principal Engineer will provide technical leadership of I&T scope through software development, software integration and test.
The Senior Principal Systems Engineer will be embedded in an integration and test transformation team operating across multiple programs. Though the scope of this role will be primarily related to SPY6, other programs will be supported on an as needed capacity. The role focuses on the software testing within the development pipeline ultimately producing superior builds delivered to customer assets and engineering sites. They will primarily interface with RPL Test architect as well as the SPY6 Program Office, Chief Engineer (CE), Test Architect (TA), and Lead Systems Engineer (LSE). They will implement best practices, provide mentoring and guidance to the team, and identify lessons learned to drive improvements.
**What You Will Do**
+ Develop and implement software test and integration strategies for Radar Product Line programs.
+ Provide comprehensive assessments of the integration and testing of deliverable builds.
+ Develop regression tests, update test architecture, and plan test coverage for new capabilities.
+ Provide technical direction for integration and test team activities for the Radar Product Line.
+ Drive test defect resolution, from discovery to closure.
+ Coordinates with numerous program leaders, including CPT and IPT Leads, Waterfront Leads, CE, TA, and LSEs.
+ Communicate internally, responsible for interfacing senior leaders relating to the RPL.
+ Be a Subject Matter Expert in Systems Integration, Verification, and/or Validation.
+ This role can be based out of Marlborough MA or Tewksbury MA.
**Qualifications You Must Have**
+ Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM), and a minimum of 10 years of prior engineering experience.
+ Experience in systems engineering, systems integration, test, verification, and/or validation.
+ Experience with MATLAB.
+ Experience in integration lab and/or test facility.
+ Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
**Qualifications We Prefer**
+ Experience in radar integration or on naval radar programs.
+ Experience working in Agile Development Environments and/or automated software testing.
+ Experience with Python, SQL database queries, and/or Grafana.
+ Experience interfacing with internal and external customer representatives.
+ Experience with US Navy Test & Evaluation (Development Test & Operational Test) and Inspection and Survey (INSURV) process.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
