Integration Technician
Job Title: Integration TechnicianJob Description The Integration Technician will conduct tests on electrical and electronic components and systems to ensure they meet specified standards and performance criteria. The role involves executing existing electronics test plans and test cases on various systems and components to ensure conformance with customer requirements and to confirm quality and reliability. Responsibilities + Set up and operate test equipment, record test data, and analyze results. + Identify and diagnose issues with components and systems, recommending corrective actions. + Document test procedures, results, and any deviations from standards. + Perform light hardware assembly and troubleshooting using basic benchtop electronics test tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, and network analyzers. + Collaborate with engineering teams to improve test processes and product quality. + Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. + Conduct hardware preparation and checkout, pre-ship procedures, regression testing using pre-set test stands or rigs, backup verification, and network and resource inventory. + Participate in continuous improvement processes as part of a larger team to enhance processes. Essential Skills + Experience with troubleshooting electronics using standard electronics benchtop equipment. + Experience with high reliability electronics systems. + Ability to follow semi-complex test plans and document test results according to SOPs. + Experience with creating test plans. + Knowledge and experience in electronics and electronics troubleshooting. + Proficiency in using standard electronics test equipment. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline is a plus but not required. + Experience in industry or military tasks can substitute for a degree. + 2-7 years of experience as a technician. + Understanding of basics of scripting or batch scripting is a plus but not required. + Familiarity with industry standards such as MIL-STD is a plus. + Knowledge of SW/HW interfaces and basics of network engineering and protocols is a plus but not required. + Experience in a product development environment is required. + Proficiency in using test automation software is a plus but not required. + Detail-oriented, driven, and action-oriented individual. + Open to personal development and growth within an organization. Work Environment The work environment consists of a smaller team office with approximately 30 people, featuring a mix of engineering and production spaces. The setting provides opportunities for personal development and growth in a collaborative atmosphere. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Silver Spring, Maryland. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $42.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
