Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Manager Supply Chain Programs 2 to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals within our Global Supply Chain organization. This leadership role is located onsite in Melbourne, Florida.

Position Responsibilities:

Responsible and accountable for the strategy, planning, and execution of all material and services content for a Program or collection of Programs.

Acts as a focal point for the Program Management Office (PMO) on behalf of supply chain and coordinates cross-functionally to ensure that all supply chain commitments are met, and that appropriate mitigation plans are developed and executed to address any programmatic risks related to suppliers.

Leads supply chain Program execution and is accountable for resource planning, material cost, forecasting, schedule performance, risk/opportunity management, supplier performance, and supply chain issue resolution.

Manages the GSC teams rhythm to align with program and organizations priorities to minimize distractions.

Manages important projects & priorities.

Teams with GSC leadership to prioritize our approach.

Set and manage expectations for meetings, to include planning and effectiveness.

Ensure the team is utilizing the appropriate metrics and indicators to manage and improve performance.

Acts as an advisor to leadership and customers.

The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels.

Candidate must be an effective communicator and will be expected to build relationships across program IPTs.

Assignments are complex and performed independently without appreciable direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment.

Basic Qualifications:

Must have a Bachelor's degree and 7 years of related professional/military experience that includes a background in Supply Chain Management and/or Program/Project/Business Management, OR a Master’s degree AND 5 years of related professional/military experience that includes a background in Supply Chain Management and/or Program/Project/Business Management, OR High School Diploma/Equivalent and 10 years of experience of related professional/military experience that includes a background in Supply Chain Management and/or Program/Project/Business Management

Must have a minimum of 3 years experience leading a team, process, and/or projects from conception to completion

Your ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret clearance (DoD must be in Scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation) and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Particularly strong in PowerPoint)

Current Special Program Access (PAR)

Knowledge of FAR and agency supplements

Experience with supplier management

Direct experience interfacing with leadership

SAP experience

Experience with Major Program Standup (EMD/FSD Phase)

Cost Account Manager (CAM) Certification

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
