About this opportunity:

We are looking for a Packet Core Integration Engineer that performs as Resident Engineer, being the main point of contact for our external customers, providing support to drive several activities in the scope, including participation in deployment, integration, configuration, upgrades and troubleshooting for their 5G solution, specifically for SMF and UPF nodes.

It’s an opportunity for you to grow and take new challenges in your career. We do not expect you to be an expert in every area of the scope but experience working with at least 4G aspects like EPG and MME is key, demonstrating experience handling external customer and hands on in full cycle from deployment to troubleshooting.

What you will do:

Provide service delivery to telecommunication operators for United States and Canada.

Work directly with our customers and stakeholders to provide System Integration, Rollout, Optimization and problem solution, this includes application of knowledge Including Linux, TCP/IP, Container, Kubernetes, and Virtualization technology to enabling data capability upon 4G and 5G networks.

Be part of a highly motivated and diverse team of engineers, solution architects and testers to increase profitability and drive continuous improvement.

Get to work with an outstanding local and distributed team, while interacting closely with our customers.

Be able to influence and drive exciting, results-oriented projects.

You can remove barriers and address complex situations with regards to technical challenges in integration activities.

The skills you bring:

· To have a business level of English B2-C1 or equivalent

· Bachelor of Engineering or related field qualification

· Up to 5 years’ experience of Telecom experience with at least 2 years of experience in External Customer’s Management.

· Experience in Packet Core domain, 4G and 5G.

· Excellent communication skills and practical experience executing a consultative role.

· Hands on Experience with SGSN-MME, EPG, including deployments and troubleshooting.

· Basic or hands on experience with SMF / UPF including deployments and upgrades is preferable.

· Kubernetes knowledge.

· Demonstrate motivation and proactivity to learn and constantly improve processes and tools proposing efficient solutions.

· Ability to demonstrate or have experience working with teams locally and globally.
