Intake Specialist, Project Management Office, Global Central RME
Description The Global RME Project Management Office (GPMO) is seeking a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in project management and process improvement to manage and streamline our GPMO project Asana intake and change management processes in North American (NA). As the NA Intake Specialist, you'll be responsible for meticulously reviewing, validating, and managing incoming projects requests and change requests across various PMO pillars, including Permanent Corrective Actions, Technical Service Bulletins, Continuous Improvements, Best Practices, and Permanent Improvement Actions. You will act as the single threaded intake owner for change management requests impacting RME for both single site and multi-site projects. During your review you'll collaborate closely with PMO Pillar leads, RME Central Team Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and Senior RME Field Leaders to ensure the validation of RME resources, project feasibility, and alignment with stakeholder and customer criteria and feedback for each change request. Key job responsibilities • Thoroughly assess and validate all intake and change requests, incorporating feedback from diverse stakeholder and customer groups. • Build strong relationships and Earn Trust with stakeholders and customers through transparent communication and reliable execution. • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey project requirements and updates • Exercise strong Bias for Action with the ability to Deliver Results within SLAs • Maintain a deep understanding of the PMO team’s scope and pillars to navigate ambiguous situations/requests and collaborate with the appropriate stakeholders to solve challenges. • Exercise strong judgment to determine the most suitable approach for each project and engage the necessary stakeholders for productive discussions. • Pay attention to detail to ensure accuracy and completeness in project processing. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of intake and change management processes. • Manage and coordinate bi-weekly team Newsletters • Position includes travel up to 15%. About the team The Global RME Project Management Office (PMO) team provides a customer-facing centralized project management solution for continuous improvements, best practices, technical service bulletins, and permanent corrective actions which requires RME resources. Our goal is to provide a stage-gate project process from intake, scoping, execution, post-go live support, completion tracking and reporting. The base pay for this position ranges from $52,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $102,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
