Real Help is seeking an experienced Intake Coordinator to join our growing Telehealth team!
The Intake Coordinator manages all aspects of the registration and admissions process for Real Help’s Telehealth team. They are responsible for answering incoming calls, gathering referral information, verifying insurance coverage, and scheduling clients’ appointments.
To be successful in the Intake Coordinator position, you need to be highly organized, detail oriented, and have a working knowledge of payer portals, co-pays, deductibles, and health insurance benefits. Top candidates will also have excellent interpersonal skills and work well as part of a multidisciplinary team that includes therapists, clinicians, nurse practitioners, and peers.

This is a remote position, but candidates MUST reside in MA, NH, RI, NY, or FL, and have a strong working knowledge of, and experience working with, Massachusetts insurance benefits and authorizations.
Bilingual English / Spanish is preferred for this role.
Qualifications:
· HS Diploma or equivalent
· Minimum of 2 years of patient intake and scheduling experience, preferably in a behavioral health setting
· Bilingual in English / Spanish preferred
· Must be available for full-time, dayshift hours between 830am – 430pm
· Must be able to work remotely with a reliable internet connection and a quiet, dedicated workspace
· Strong working knowledge of Massachusetts insurance benefits and authorizations
· Proficient computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and Electronic Health Records (EHR)
· Experience working with and helping clients with co-occurring disorders
· Must have prior experience with behavioral health field
· Ability to keep client and company confidence
· Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
· Strong time management and organizational skills
