Int Mechanical Assembler (2nd shift 2:00pm - 11:30pm

In this role; you have the opportunity to

Perform a variety of tasks relating to production operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies. Demonstrate professionalism, leadership, and initiative in your daily activities, with excellent inter-personal and communication skills both oral and written.

Within this role; you are responsible for:

Install, assemble, and inspect electronics per documented work instructions Interpreting Job Routers, written instructions, and schematic drawings for assembly of electronics. Performing a variety of inspections with a focus on ensuring assemblies meet/exceed IPC standards. Performing pass downs with outgoing/incoming shifts. Using hand and/or power tools, and assembly palettes. Apply material according to specifications and under simulated conditions. Other duties as assigned.

 

Required Qualifications:

3+ years of electronics assembly and/or inspection experience. High School Diploma or GED and 2 years related experience. Must be able to work a flexible schedule in order to meet production and customer needs. Must have meticulous hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Must be able to lift and manipulate up to 50lbs for an extended period of time. Knowledge of ESD (Electrostatic discharge) procedures. Must be detail oriented and able to multitask.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of IPC-610 and J-STD-001 preferred. Good written and verbal communication skills.
