Inviting applications for the role of Insurance - Technical Accounting - Process Associate – English – Remote RO
Responsibilities:
Manage, validate and reconcile Receivables, mainly consisting of:
Triage and process incoming payments according to SOP.
Verify completeness and accuracy of transactions reported by customers.
Raise queries and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain mailbox and document triaging.
Check arithmetical accuracy of calculations and deduction conditions.
Process bookings and financial settlements in admin systems.
Monitor daily payments received in the BEN/AWB
Identify and resolve discrepancies between closings and calculations.
Transfer payments to internal TAs within defined SLA.
Manage Marine master spreadsheet and IOM premium allocation process.
Process manual technical bookings for sample brokers.
Monthly and weekly statements analysis for a sample of brokers.
Successfully graduating the training plan attached to the position and the tasks.
Updating the working procedures periodically.
Training other team members regarding the daily tasks whenever necessary and requested by the manager.
Maintain and develop relationships with relevant markets and client serviced by team and all major customers within those markets as appropriate.
Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement and innovative solutions and communicate to direct manager.
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications
Very good knowledge of English B2
Good MS Office (especially MS Excel) knowledge.
Analytical thinking and self-starter.
Preferred qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in economics, Accounting, Finance, Business Management or related field.
Previous experience in technical accounting or receivables management, would be a plus.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
Attention to detail and analytical skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Professional writing skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
Knowledge of SAP and other accounting systems would be a plus.
Insurance Certification/ experience would be a plus.
Working experience with various countries and cultures would be a plus.
Previous working experience on any AML/ KYC tools would be a plus.
