Insurance Product Analyst

Mercer Super is seeking candidates for the position of Insurance Product Analyst.  The role will be based in our Melbourne office.  This a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

As an Insurance Product Analyst, you will be an important member of our Mercer Super Insurance Product team in delivering competitive insurance offerings to our superannuation clients and more than 1.1 million members. This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders and service providers (i.e. insurers and administrators) to ensure the best outcomes for our clients and members.

We will count on you to:

Provide general support on insurance in super matters, including managing the Insurance Product mailbox and responding to queries in a timely manner.

Evaluate insurance policy wording and support the preparation and review of Product Disclosure Statements ensuring content aligns with insurance policy terms and conditions.

Contribute to insurance tenders, new business installations and various business projects that involve insurance.

Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and service providers.

What you need to have:

A degree in a business-related discipline is desirable.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a financial services organization, with exposure to insurance and superannuation products preferred.

RG146 qualifications or a willingness to obtain them.

Advanced Microsoft Office skills and strong analytical abilities.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a knack for simplifying complex issues.

A proactive attitude and a passion for delivering positive member outcomes.

Strong time management and organizational skills.
