Job Summary:

The Associate Account Manager plays a key role in supporting and managing a personal lines book of business. This position is ideal for someone who has a foundational understanding of insurance principles and is ready to apply them in real-world client situations. As a primary point of contact for a portfolio of simpler or less demanding clients, the Associate Account Manager supports coverage strategy, ensures timely service delivery, and contributes to the overall success of the account management team. This role is a step toward greater autonomy in account management and requires strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

Client Interaction: Serve as the primary contact for assigned clients, ensuring all service requests and inquiries are handled promptly and professionally.

Account Management: Manage routine account responsibilities including renewals, endorsements, and policy changes. Support and inform coverage strategy and planning.

Documentation and Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date client documentation and records in the agency system.

Communication: Collaborate with internal teams to address client needs and ensure seamless service delivery.

Problem Solving: Identify and resolve client issues independently or escalate as needed to ensure client satisfaction.

Administrative Support: Perform administrative tasks that support the account management process and contribute to team efficiency.

Requirements:

Strong PC skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.

High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with diverse personalities.

Willingness to obtain the necessary P&C insurance license(s) in a timely manner.

Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership. Must work 5 days in office initially and will have possibility after 6 months to have 1 remote day per week.
