The Equine Mortality Division is looking for an Insurance Operations Associate join their team in Ocala, FL. This individual should possess strong analytical and organizational abilities with a focus on prioritization.  After the initial training period, this individual can work a hybrid schedule out of the Ocala, FL office. Job title and pay will be dependent upon successful applicant's level of experience.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

Participates in examining and processing new insurance policies, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations using various systems.

Enters or loads data into appropriate systems and researches and resolves data errors.

Organizes, prepares, and updates reports.

Participates in identifying opportunities to streamline procedures, enhance efficiency, and reduce costs.

Reads and interprets emails from agents regarding policy activity or customer inquiries.

Uploads incoming and outgoing email correspondence to electronic filing systems following established protocols.

Communicates professionally and efficiently with both internal departments and external customers.

Locates, verifies, and uploads horse records from external websites to support underwriting and policy servicing.

Initiates and updates activities related to equine policies within designated policy management software.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Education: High School Diploma (Associate degree preferred)

Experience: Experience working in an office environment and demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications particularly Outlook, and Excel. Equine knowledge is also a plus.
