Description We are looking for a skilled Insurance Claims & Denials Coordinator to join our healthcare team in Little Rock, Arkansas. This Contract-to-Permanent position offers an excellent opportunity for professionals experienced in medical insurance claims and denials. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the accurate review, analysis, and resolution of claims to support our organization's financial processes. Responsibilities: • Review submitted insurance claims to ensure accuracy and compliance with payer requirements. • Identify and analyze reasons for claim denials, utilizing appropriate denial codes and documentation. • Resubmit corrected claims to insurance providers promptly and accurately. • Collaborate with healthcare staff to gather necessary information for claim resolution. • Maintain detailed records of claims processing activities using Epic EMR software. • Monitor trends in claim denials to recommend process improvements. • Communicate with insurance companies to resolve discrepancies and secure payment. • Utilize Epic Clinical tools to streamline claims management processes. • Ensure timely follow-up on outstanding claims and appeals. • Provide reports and updates on claims status to management. Requirements • Proven experience in processing insurance claims and handling claim denials. • Familiarity with medical claims and denial codes. • Proficiency in Epic EMR and Epic Clinical software. • Strong analytical skills to accurately identify and resolve claim issues. • Attention to detail and ability to maintain thorough documentation. • Excellent communication skills for interacting with insurance providers and internal staff. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. • Knowledge of healthcare industry regulations and payer requirements.
