The ideal candidate will understand how AMS platforms interact with core insurance systems for Quote, Bind, and Issue processes. This role will play a key part in bridging the gap between business operations and technology. This is a Full Time Employment Opportunity based on client-site in Indianapolis, IN. **Your future duties and responsibilities:** • Act as a subject matter expert on insurance agency management systems, focusing on Applied EPIC and Vertafore AMS360. • Analyze, design, and support integrations between AMS platforms and core insurance systems (policy, rating, underwriting). • Collaborate with product, underwriting, IT, and agency stakeholders to ensure smooth Quote, Bind, and Issue workflows. • Gather business and technical requirements and translate them into functional specifications. • Provide support and troubleshooting for AMS-related issues and enhancements. • Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and training. • Monitor industry trends and make recommendations for improvements and innovation in AMS use and integration **Required qualifications to be successful in this role:** • Minimum 8 years of experience in the insurance industry with a strong focus on AMS platforms. • SME with hands-on experience with Applied EPIC and Vertafore AMS with data set knowledge is mandatory. • In-depth understanding of Quote, Bind, and Issue workflows in a P&C insurance environment. • Experience with data flow between AMS and carrier systems. • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills. • Ability to work cross-functionally with business and technical teams. • 8 years of hands-on experience in insurance ams related document and customer relationship building Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with API integrations between AMS and core systems. • Familiarity with ACORD standards and insurance data models. • Prior experience in system implementation or migration projects.. • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail in identifying data anomalies and root causes. • Effective communication skills to collaborate with QA, data engineers, product owners, and business analysts.
