Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Insurance Authorization Coordinator to join our team in Saco, Maine. In this contract role, you will play a key part in ensuring insurance benefits are verified accurately and efficiently, supporting critical healthcare operations. This position requires professionalism, confidentiality, and strong technical skills. Responsibilities: • Contact insurance providers to verify patient benefits and coverage through outbound calls. • Accurately document benefit details using electronic medical record systems. • Manage sensitive patient information with utmost confidentiality and professionalism. • Utilize tools such as Chrome, Microsoft Outlook, and Adobe for daily tasks. • Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure timely authorization for patient services. • Maintain a thorough understanding of insurance policies and procedures. • Deliver excellent customer service when interacting with insurance representatives. • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational standards. Requirements • Proven experience in handling inbound and outbound calls in a detail-oriented environment. • Proficiency in using Chrome, Microsoft Outlook, and Adobe tools. • Strong organizational and time management skills. • Ability to manage confidential patient information responsibly. • Excellent communication skills for interacting with insurance providers. • Capability to work efficiently in a fully onsite environment.
