Our Community Branch Network Division is seeking a client-focused Insurance Advisor, Personal Lines. We want someone who thrives in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
 

Our Aldergrove office first opened its doors in 1980 and has been operating there ever since. We are proud to be a long-term partner in the community, providing insurance solutions to both businesses and individuals in the area for over 30 years.
 

Requirements

Level 2 General Insurance License2+ year experience in personal insurance.Client service focused with exceptional communication skillsExcellent insurance product knowledge.

A Day in the Life

First things first, you’ll administer a personal insurance book of business.You’ll sell ICBC and private automobile coverage.You’ll accomplish front line underwriting as well as writing new home, travel and umbrella policies while cross selling other products.You’ll develop new business opportunities by securing renewals and cross selling new products.You’ll contact clients for renewal information and provide policy and coverage information as changes occur or upon inquiry.You’ll set and adhere to production budgets, including ICBC Autoplan and Private Auto Sales production.You’ll ensure compliance with all insurers, Insurance Council of BC and Privacy Act rules and regulations.  You’ll ensure control of ICBC inventory and correct handling of all documentation and funds.You’ll handle any customer complaints with professionalism and understanding.At the end of the day, we represent HUB. You’ll need to ensure that you understand and live up to our HUB values, mission and vision.

The expected salary range for this position is $50,000 to $70,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include extended health benefits, disability insurance, RRSP matching, paid-time-off benefits, and eligible bonuses, and commissions for some positions.
