Instrumentation Tech
Full Time Contract (Hourly-2nd shift) Title or Role: Instrumentation Tech Location: Jayuya, Puerto Rico, 100% on-site Length of Contract: Six months w/possible extension. Company Description: Our client specializes in the manufacturing of medical serums and bags and is in the process of introducing new manufacturing equipment and their process controls. Position Description: Performs calibrations and inspections studies to manufacturing equipment and provides technical support of critical systems area. Assures that Company complies with all internal and external standards and regulations. Responsibilities: + Provides technical support in the critical manufacturing systems area and assures the accomplishment of all external and internal policies and regulations. + Performs, steam studies, environmental tests for particulate matter, compressed air monitoring, differential pressure test, HEPA leak and integrity tests. + Fill out, analyze and understand all necessary documentation to comply with all specifications, SOP's, protocols and instructions. + Performs inspections to plant critical systems such as: distilled water, nitrogen generation and others. + Preforms preventive maintenance works such as calibrations, troubleshooting, etc. to all plant equipment. + Audits, creates and makes changes to SOP's and department tests in compliance with all standards. + Must keep the work area in the cleanest and order condition. Qualifications: + Experience working in a regulated environment desired. + Knowledge in reviewing equipment calibration, preventive maintenance specifications and testing. + Knowledge in performing statistical analysis: Normality, tolerance limits, capability and gage R&R tests. + Good Technical writing skills. + Must be fully Bilingual (English/Spanish) and must have good communication skills both oral and written. + Demonstrated interpersonal skills, including the ability to listen, resolve problems, deal with unresolved issues, delays and unexpected events, and the ability to effectively communicate and maintain rapport with supported customers. + Occasionally willing to work any shift and Holidays as requested by immediate supervisor.
