Work Experience

Key Skills:

Should have good design knowledge in Petroleum industry and oil & Gas projectsShould have good communication skills to interact with Global customersGood technical reasoning, analytical and monitoring skillsKnowledge in AutoCAD, Smart plant Instrumentation (INTOOLS) software.Excellent computer skills including use of engineering and computer software to complete control valve, PSV and flow meter sizing.Knowledge in midstream brown field FEED & Detail designStrong knowledge in field instruments including electronic and pneumatic transmitters, switches, meter-runs, analyzers, control valves and ESD valves.Requires a broad knowledge of the application of engineering to plant constructability as applied to construction methods and materials, and the economics involved.Review and verification of inputs as per the project requirement.Knowledge and experience applying codes and standards such as CSA, API, ANSI and ISA.P&ID review with process team & Piping Team, updating necessary changes.Review vendor and existing drawings for design compliance.Preparation & Review of Instrument Index and Instrument I/O list. Preparation & Review of datasheet.Preparation & Review of FJB interconnection wiring diagram.Preparation & Review of Loop diagram.Preparation & Review of Cable Schedule.Preparation & Review of Instrument Location Plan.Preparation & Review of Cable & Conduit tray routing.Preparation & Review of Instrument Hookup drawings.Preparation & Review Power Distribution dwgsPreparation & Review of PLC layout & IO Schedule.Preparation & Review of Cause & Effect Diagram.Knowledge of various electrical components including MCCs, PLC equipment panels and motors.

 

Education & Personality:

B.E. / B. Tech / M. Tech in Instrumentation Engineering.Minimum 6+ years of experience in Instrumentation designMinimum 3+ years of experience in oil & gas
