Instrumentation Engineer - Gas Turbine System
Job Requirements

Lead instrumentation design solutions associated with gas turbines such as,fuel system, flame detection, Haz gas, pressure transmitters etc.

Develop Standard P&ID drawings for Upgrade solutions to use across Project.

Prepare Specification, Ordering drawing, Field Instruction Manual

Selection of instruments such as limit switches, pressure & level switches, pressure transmitters, gas detector, and special probes, Thermocouples, Humidity Sensor

Address Supplier Deviation Request, Site Queries.

Perform Continuous Improvement Ideas on BoMs / drawings by incorporating recent lessons learned and keeping it up to date.

Support site queries and customer meetings.

Develop device summary for instrumentation upgrades

Read, interpret, and develop interconnection wiring diagrams for new devices connection from devices to Turbine Control Panel.

Create Bill of Materials for Systems & Subsystems

Conduit and cable tray selection and sizing

Developing feasible conduit tree diagram for upstream and downstream of the equipment

Intermediate and export junction boxes selection and sizing



Work Experience

5 to 8 Years of Experience

Strong Knowledge on PLM process Drawing BoM release, revision, Obsolete, Approvals

Selection and sizing of instruments, power and control cables for hazardous zone.

Identify hazardous zone and develop hazardous map drawing.

Collaborate with cross disciplinary functions like Mechanical, Controls teams to execute projects

Building system and sub-systems to meet ASME, IEC, UL, CE, NEC, ATEX and RoHS standards.
