TRS Staffing Solutions has exciting opportunities for an Instrumentation & Control Systems Design Lead/Supervisor role to work for one of Canada's top employers and a global leader in the Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management industry.

Responsibilities:
  Support specialized sub-disciplines such as stress analysis, material engineering, and process graphics. Monitor material quantities and provide analytical forecasts to support procurement and planning. Provide technical oversight for piping systems, including layout plans, isometrics, and instrumentation diagrams. Collaborate with procurement, permitting, and subcontracting teams to align design deliverables. Oversee the creation and review of technical drawings, specifications, and design criteria. Lead and mentor design teams, including engineers, supervisors, and drafting personnel. Develop and manage project design strategies, schedules, and cost estimates. Perform additional tasks as required.
Qualifications
  Diploma or equivalent in a relevant technical field, with a minimum of 25 years of related experience. Proven leadership in managing design teams and complex project scopes. Strong understanding of piping systems and industrial design practices. Proficiency in design software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SmartPlant, or similar platforms). Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments. Familiarity with material specifications, cost analysis, and field implementation. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a time-sensitive environment.
