Instrument & Electrical Technician

This is an Expression of Interest for experienced Instrument & Electrical Technician to join our offshore team on the Bayu Undan project.

This role will work within an integrated Electrical and Instrumentation team to complete electrical, process and utilities instrumentation and control systems in accordance with the 21-day planning revision cycle.

This is a casual role on a 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off rotation.

Responsibilities

Build relationships with Timor-Leste Trade Trainees, provide guidance and assist in the ongoing development of a learning environment Carry out planned maintenance in accordance with the requirements of the planned maintenance system Fault finding and rectification for electrical equipment and instrumentation system. Carrying out checks and assisting in the final commissioning of electrical and instrumentation equipment inclusive of all HV and LV switch gear instrumentation and design modifications. Carry out Inspection of work, hazardous area inspections, and package checks as required.  Preparing technical reports and work order history for entry into the maintenance management system (e.g. SAP) Understand safety requirements, key performance indicators, quality standards and time frames required to complete scope of works. Assist Clough Wood with Timor-Leste feedback reports and development progress observations Assist in the development of Timor-Leste Trade Trainee personnel by sharing technical skills and experience aligned to technical workbooks and offshore PRTs Provide ‘hands on’ operational support to teams where required.

Qualifications and skills

Recognised ‘A’ Grade Electrical Licence. Recognised Trade Certificate of Instrument Fitting Completed Electrical Equipment Hazardous Area Certificate – endorsed to Detailed Inspections Provide First Aid certificate Low Voltage Rescue and CPR Training Current T/BOSIET MARLINS English Language Test (if applicable) Safe Working at Heights (within 3 years from issue)

Desirable

Atmospheric Gas Testing HV Switching Operations Minimum 5 years’ experience in Oil & Gas construction and maintenance Industry Enter and Work in Confined Space Operate Breathing Apparatus Swagelok
