Instrument Commissioning Engineer

Wood is currently looking for a Instrument Commissioning Engineer to join our System Integration (SI) team within out Digital Consulting business supporting across our UK projects. 

This is a hybrid role into the Aberdeen office, with an expectation that during outage it will be full time at the Kirriemuir site.    

The position can be on either a staff or contract basis.   

Applicants must be able to pass HMG Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) check.

The Role 

The Instrument Commissioning Engineer will be Accountable for the consistent and safe management of Instrumentation commissioning workscope, delivering fully commissioned Instrumentation systems/sub-systems in accordance with project requirements (procedures and processes), schedule and budget. 

The Engineer will actively participate in ensuring that all Project HSSE goals are achieved and where possible exceeded deliver safe completion of system commissioning in line with the project schedule and milestones, ensuring all systems are handed over in a consistent and timely manner will be the key areas.
