Instructor for Technical Communication Course

**Description**
The Biomedical Engineering Department at CMU is looking to fill a position to lead and develop a course for graduate students of developing skills in Technical Communication in written form. The person will develop course material related to teaching students how to write a student fellowship to the NIH as well as manuscripts. The person teaching this course will be responsible for in-person or hybrid teaching, grading, and helping revise written drafts of students, holding office hours, and providing feedback to students.
**Qualifications**
The applicant should have a track record in lecturing and leading writing / technical communication courses. The applicant should be familiar with NIH fellowship structures as well as scientific manuscripts. The applicant will also be responsible for communicating with the graduate affairs committee in the department for reporting on performance of PhD students undergoing qualification assessment the same year.
