Instructor Flight Engineer E-3A (f/m/d)
As IFE, the following tasks are key for the role:
Operate the Flight Simulator Training Devices (FSTD's) and associated systemsProvide the expertise to contribute for an effective and efficient use of the FSTD's capabilities and support military instructors to achieve this goalInstruct Students in checklist procedure and basic system knowledge in the FSTD's.Provide the full range in simulator scenario training aircrew members during all phases of trainingConduct theoretical and practical training and augment Customer Training Organization as requiredLead training and scenario development and reviewInstruct basic system knowledge, normal and emergency procedure training and student instructor familiarization trainingSupport in planning, guiding and execution of simulated events, support distributed Simulator trainingsProvide briefing and debriefing to trainee and lead the scheduling activitiesMaintain and update all required technical and operational publications and data provided by customerContribute to further development of training programProvide demonstration during visitsProvide and track data for training, training events, students performance and generic statisticsSupport the On-Site Manager as requiredCarry out additional tasks under directionKnowledge, Skills and Experience:
A recent, thorough working knowledge of FE responsibilities and duties related to wide body jet aircraft.A minimum of three (3) years and 1,000 flying hours experience as a Flight Engineer in the E-3, E-8 and/or Boeing 707.A minimum of one (1) year experience as an instructor Flight Engineer on E-3 and/or, E-8 aircraft.Eligibility is restricted to citizens of NATO member states.Eligible for NATO Security ClearanceExcellent organization skills, including a sense of accuracyStrong communication skills across versatile customer groupsHands-on, pragmatic, and service-orientatedFluency in EnglishWe offer:
