CSMART is currently looking for a full time Electrical Instructor as part of the Operations department.
Reporting to a Senior and indirectly to the Principal Instructor - Technical, this role has a particular focus on current and emerging technologies, crew resource management and company procedures achieved by training and simulations.
As an Instructor (Electrical), your responsibilities, amongst others, will include:
Delivering training to ship-board technical staffDelivering training according to the CSMART course delivery process and quality standardsDeveloping content / new procedures to be implemented onboard shipsKeeping up to date with current practices and technologyLiaise with Operations Support and other instructors to ensure everything is prepared prior and at the end coursesFollowing up with ‘overperforming’ and ‘underperforming’ participant process
Requirements & Experience
Experience should be or have been in the role of 1st Electrical Engineer at minimum.Experience as a Senior Electrical Engineer / Superintendent and Subject Matter Experts (SME) in Marine Engineering is valuableCruise Ship experience is preferredExperience in teaching/instructing would be an asset
Skills (Technical / Language / Personal Skills)
