Oracle Education Foundation is a nonprofit organization funded by Oracle and staffed by Oracle employees 100% dedicated to the Foundation. We are seeking an Instructor to join our team of educators, technologists, and creative problem solvers. The individual in this role will help deliver the Oracle Education Foundation program and will enjoy all the benefits of working of cloud technology company, Oracle, plus the sense of purpose inherent in a philanthropic role. 

 

Candidate must possess:

Strong teaching and classroom management skills Ability to build and maintain relationships with partner schools and nonprofits Ability to design modern, engaging, hands-on technical curriculum Ability to lead open-ended project-based classes Experience in one or more of the following: app design, artificial intelligence, data science, game design, physical computing, programming, robotics Willingness to try different teaching models Strong design thinking and futures thinking skills or willingness to learn Ability to rapidly adapt to change, master complexity, and navigate ambiguity

 

About our Program:

Oracle Education Foundation teaches young people how to innovate, solve problems with technology, and shape a better future. We reach students by collaborating with select schools and nonprofit organizations neighboring Oracle hubs. We offer in-person and hybrid engagements that connect students to the talented people of Oracle. Students work alongside Oracle Volunteer coaches as they engage in classes at the intersection of coding, physical computing, design thinking, and futures thinking.
