Join our dynamic team at the BU Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine Rod Hochman Family Clinical Skills Simulation Center (RHCSSC) as an Instructional Technologist Simulation Technician. In this hands-on role, you'll support clinical training of students in the health professions, standardized patient encounters, and simulation operations that shape the next generation of healthcare professionals. Additionally, you will collaborate and train with the staff from Boston Medical Centers Solomont Simulation Center, a state-of-the-art training facility and affiliate partner to Boston University CAMED. Key Responsibilities: Technical Operations

Operate and maintain simulation equipment, manikins, and AV systems. Troubleshoot and support digital media, streaming, and recording systems.  Collaborate with vendors (e.g., Laerdal, Elevate) for system support and upgrades. Simulation Center Oversight. Guide students and faculty through clinical workflows.  Manage standardized patient sessions and simulation logistics. Maintain inventory and ensure equipment readiness. Client Support & Customer Service. Assist faculty and students with clinical training and simulation-based learning. Support affiliated programs using clinical skills and simulation centers. Administrative Scheduling & Tracking/Reporting. Coordinate simulation activities using Elevate, 25Live, Microsoft Office Suite. Track student participation and support data collection for reporting. Communication & Collaboration. Develop and distribute communications to faculty, staff, and students. Respond to RHCSSC inquiries and maintain digital communications and the website.
