Three Saints Bay, LLC, a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking an Instructional Systems Designer (ST2) to join our Team in Crane, IN.
POSITION RESPONSIBILTIES:
Collaborate with the assigned Government Lead to create a detailed project plan for each Computer Based Training (CBT) development request, outlining start dates and key milestones.
Research provided Government-furnished information (GFI), such as technical manuals, prior curricula, or existing CBTs, to develop and update interactive, SCORM 2004-compliant Computer Based Training (CBT) and e-learning modules (Interactive Multi-media Instruction [IMI] Levels II–IV) for platforms including Navy Knowledge Online (NKO) and Joint Knowledge Online (JKO).
Develop and update CBTs for courses including JCREW I1B1 Administrator, Dismounted Operator, Dismounted Maintainer, Mounted Operator, Mounted Maintainer, Fixed Site Operator, Fixed Site Maintainer, Fixed Site Shelter Installation and Setup (including Australia-specific versions), M3E1 and M3A1 Maintenance and Operator Manuals, and FCS13RE Operations and Maintenance Manual.
Create storyboards for CBT modules, coordinating with the Government to access equipment for photos and videos, incorporating operation, installation, removal (if applicable), and equipment demonstrations using video, 3D animations, and narration.
Ensure all CBT deliverables are SCORM 2004-compliant, certified by the Advanced Distributed Learning Initiative Co-Laboratory (ADL/CO-LAB), and meet Section 508 accessibility requirements.
Produce final CBT deliverables on Compact Disc (CD) for user distribution, with a second CD containing all source files (e.g., program files, video clips).
Plan and execute the upload of CBTs to Navy Knowledge Online (NKO) per the Content Hosting and Report Management Service (CHaRMS) Developer User Guide and Reviewer Guide, as well as to Joint Knowledge Online (JKO) and Air Force Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring compatibility with SCORM 2004 and 1.2 versions as required.
Develop two versions of each course (Navy and Air Force), incorporating specific changes identified in provided course materials to meet respective service requirements.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
5+ year’s instructional development experience.
3+ year’s developing computer based training.
2+ year’s developing training using Authoring Instructional Materials (AIM).
Authoring Instructional Materials (AIM) is a management system consisting of a set of commercial and Government software used by the United States Navy for the development and design of training curricula and instructional content.
