Job Summary Job Summary

Under the supervision of the ASES District Coordinator, and with the guidance of the Program Leader ASES, the Instructional Support Aide - ASES will be responsible for ensuring and implementing all aspects of program activities with your assigned grade level class. Serve as a team member and provide academic and enrichment instruction to individuals or small groups of students in a positive learning environment; prepare instructional materials, create lesson plans and perform clerical duties in support of the classroom activities performed.

- High school graduate or equivalent. MUST have completed at least 48 semester units or the equivalent of college credit, or obtained an AA (or higher) degree. -Any combination equivalent to some experience working with children in an organized setting First Aid and CPR certificates must be obtained within the first 30 days of employment. - This is a paraprofessional position subject to the federal No Child Left Behind Act.
