GovCIO is currently hiring for an Instructional Developer to design, develop, and implement educational materials. This position will be located in Columbia, MD and will be on-site position.
ResponsibilitiesCollaborates with and gathers course material from subject matter experts. Creating and developing various learning materials, including online courses, training manuals, and interactive elements.Writing, editing, and organizing content to align with learning objectives and target audience needs. Applying instructional design principles and models (ADDIE) to create effective learning experiences. Utilizing learning management systems (LMS), authoring tools, and multimedia elements to enhance learning.
Must be able to collaborate with project managers, subject matter experts, and multimedia specialists.Creates criteria for determining course effectiveness and makes improvements.Selects or develops teaching aids such as demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference works.May evaluate end-users to determine technological literacy, learning capacity, and teaching methodology.Assessing the effectiveness of learning materials and making adjustments based on feedback and performance data. Must be knowledgeable and capable of operating various computer based training systems including distance learning and long range facilitated group discussions.May be responsible for producing quick reference guides. QualificationsHigh School with 6 - 9 years (or commensurate experience)
Required Skills and Experience
Clearance Required: Secret3-5 years of knowledge/experience designing and developing engaging, practical cybersecurity training with hands-on exercises for diverse learners.Skilled in curriculum development, instructional design models, and e-learning tools.***PENDING CONTRACT AWARD***

Posted Pay Range
The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process.
