Instructional Designer
Job Description Key Responsibilities Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to assess training needs and define learning objectives. Design and develop engaging instructional materials, including eLearning modules, instructor-led training (ILT), virtual instructor-led training (vILT), job aids, and assessments. Apply instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM, etc.) to structure effective learning experiences. Develop storyboards, scripts, and course outlines to support learning goals. Build and publish eLearning courses using authoring tools such as Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, or similar platforms. Integrate courses into Learning Management Systems (LMS) and monitor learner engagement and performance. Evaluate the effectiveness of training through feedback, assessments, and data analytics; recommend improvements based on findings. Skills and Requirements Qualifications Bachelors degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning & Development, or a related field. 3+ years of experience designing and developing training content for adult learners. Proficiency with eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia). Experience with Learning Management Systems (e.g., Workday Learning, Cornerstone, Moodle). Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with SCORM, xAPI, or other eLearning standards. Preferred Qualifications Degree in Instructional Design, Education Technology, or a related field. Experience designing training for technical, compliance, or field-based roles.
