Job Title: Installer Lead
Job Description

This position is pivotal in coordinating schedules for installers, leading a crew to ensure jobs are on track and completed efficiently. Successful candidates will have previous experience leading a team and must be adept at using hand and power tools, as well as reading work instructions and blueprints from day one. The role involves working onsite in various office and healthcare settings, reporting to a foreman, and thriving in a team-oriented environment.

ResponsibilitiesCoordinate schedules for installation crews.Lead a crew to ensure jobs are on track and completed efficiently.Use hand and power tools to install and assemble high-end office furniture, including cubicles, tables, desks, filing cabinets, and chairs.Read and follow blueprints and work instructions for installation tasks.Work on electrical panels and components, such as AV equipment and TV installations.Assist in unloading trucks at the work site.Potentially interact with clients if the work site is not shut down to regular employees.Essential Skills6+ months of experience leading a team, with military experience preferred.Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools.Ability to read blueprints and schematics.Mechanical assembly and carpentry skills.Experience in general labor and construction.Additional Skills & QualificationsFamiliarity with mechanical assembly and sub-assembly.Experience in oil change and auto-related tasks is advantageous.Willingness to travel to various job sites and adapt to different working hours.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Typical working hours are from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, though flexibility is required for earlier starts as early as 5:00 am depending on the job. Candidates must be willing to drive to job sites; if the site is over 45 minutes away, they will drive to a central corporate location and then use a company truck. The work involves various office settings around the Twin Cities, with a dress code requiring black pants and, at some sites, steel-toed boots.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plymouth, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
