The Installations Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the successful planning, scheduling, and execution of telecommunications installation projects. This position serves as the primary point of contact between internal teams, field technicians, clients, and vendors to guarantee timely, accurate, and high-quality service delivery. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:Coordinate the scheduling of installation projects with customers, technicians, and subcontractors.
Maintain and update installation calendars and internal tracking systems.
Communicate daily with field technicians to ensure timely arrival, job readiness, and issue resolution.
Serve as the liaison between the sales, technical, and customer service teams to ensure alignment on project requirements.
Prepare and distribute installation work orders, documentation, and permits as needed.
Monitor the progress of installations and follow up on incomplete or delayed jobs.
Ensure compliance with company standards, safety guidelines, and local regulations.
Maintain accurate records of installations, materials used, and any customer concerns.
Assist in resource planning and forecasting to meet service demand.
Support quality assurance efforts by gathering feedback and conducting post-installation reviews.
Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred.
2+ years of experience in scheduling, coordination, or customer service, preferably in the telecommunications or construction industry.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and scheduling software (e.g., Salesforce, ServiceTitan, or similar).
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
Knowledge of fiber optics, broadband, VoIP, or other telecom services is a plus.
