**Title:** Inspector II

Determines the conformance of product to engineering drawings and specifications and determines the airworthiness of the articles on which maintenance, preventive maintenance or alterations are being performed by using inspection methods, techniques, practices, aids, equipment, and tools.
§ Inspects incoming materials, manufactured &/or repaired parts and verifies conformance to manufacturer’s specifications and maintains the traceability of the parts &/or materials,
§ Ensures positive traceability by completing required documentation IAW internal procedures & work instructions,
§ Logs incoming parts and distributes to the appropriate departments as prescribed on TAS purchase orders,
§ Completes in-process inspections as required,
§ Conducts internal audits and associated documentation,
§ Performs other duties as assigned,
**Flight Path 1:**
§ Completes dimensional inspections of manufactured & repaired product,
§ Completes inspection documentation required by contract or, internal procedures, including FAI
OR
**Flight Path 2:**
§ Performs Final Inspections and ensures that all return to service requirements is met before the unit is released to shipping per FAR 145.213, 145.155, 145.157 and Part 65
Qualifications:
§ Thorough knowledge of:
+ Methods, practices, inspection techniques and tools used in the aerospace inspection role,
+ Microsoft office basics,
§ Skill to:
+ Learn industry-related software,
+ Utilize inspection equipment, tools, visual aids, and company procedures to inspect incoming manufactured & repaired parts and traceability documents for compliance to regulations and customer requirements,
§ Qualified to:
+ Meets the requirements of 14CFR Part 145.155,
+ Capable of meeting the eligibility requirements of 14CFR Part 145.157, 145.213 and Part 65,
**Flight Path 1:**
§ Thorough Knowledge of:
+ The latest inspection techniques, methods, measurement tools and equipment, including CMM, available within the facility.
OR
**Flight Path 2:**
§ Thorough Knowledge of:
o FAA 8130-3 Authorized Release Document, FAA Advisory Circulars and Federal Aviation Regulations Parts 21 and 145,
o Certificated Repairman IAW 14CFR Part 65
**Special Requirements**
§ Within 90 days, must have understanding of Triumph Accessory Services ERP & MRP System and familiarity with the Inventory, Purchasing and Service repair order screens along with working knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems,
§ Within 90 days, must have an understanding of the Repair Station Quality Management System, FAA 8130-3 Form, FAA Advisory Circulars, ATA 106 and the current FARs,
§ Within 18 months, meet the eligibility requirements of the applicable FAR for recommendation as a Certificated Repairman IAW 14CFR Part 65,
§ Successfully pass annual regulatory vision requirements
