Job Title: Receipt Inspector Level II Job Description This role entails overseeing the inspection process to ensure that materials received at the plant meet quality standards. The position requires thorough review and assessment of engineering requirements, testing, and analysis of materials for use in a nuclear plant. Proper documentation and record maintenance are crucial responsibilities in this role. Responsibilities + Oversee the process of receipt inspection for each type of material received at the plant. + Ensure thorough and timely completion of material review. + Assess engineering requirements and analyze materials to determine if they are of acceptable quality for intended use. + Document findings in written analytical reports and maintain records. + Perform receipt inspection in compliance with site processes and procedures. + Reject substandard or non-compliant materials or parts. + Determine if substitute materials or parts have necessary critical characteristics for approval. + Maintain receipt inspector Level II certification. + Conduct audits and assessments of any area within the Supply Organization to ensure Quality Assurance program compliance. + Analyze deficiencies identified during receipt inspections and ensure they are entered into the Corrective Action Process (CAP). + May recommend solutions to identified deficiencies. Essential Skills + Experience in construction, blueprint reading, and quality inspection. + Proficiency in inspection and testing protocols. + Clerical skills and knowledge of measuring tools. + High School Diploma or equivalent plus a minimum of six years of related experience OR a bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of two years of related experience. + Receipt inspector Level II certification OR must pass company-provided training to obtain Level II certification within 60 days of employment. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Familiarity with Work Control, Planning, and Maintenance functions as they relate to Supply Operations. + Preferred qualifications include Quality Control/Receipt Inspector experience. Work Environment This is an on-site position at the Crane Clean Energy Center, previously known as Three Mile Island, with a 4x10 schedule.
