Job Description

As an Inspector, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of operations on the job site. Your responsibilities will include practicing safety measures, conducting daily equipment inspections, participating in meetings, and maintaining a clean and secure work environment.

ResponsibilitiesPractice safety in every move, estimating weights and distances, being fully aware of surroundings, minimizing hazards, and reporting any injuries or damage immediately.Start each workday with an inspection of tires, controls, fuel, and fluids to ensure reliable operation.Participate in daily meetings with your supervisor and staff, maintaining constant communication throughout the work period.Store and clean machinery at its designated location at the end of each working day.Follow all safety procedures on the job site.Maintain a safe and clean job site by handling materials and storing them properly, picking up and removing all tools and equipment when not in use, and securing the job site on a daily basis.Assist Engineers and/or Superintendent.Operate laser guidance equipment.Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.Operate HydroVac when needed to remove water from the inspection area.Inspect core samples and soil for compaction and proper bonding.Essential SkillsInspection experienceQuality assuranceGeneral laborConstructionAdditional Skills & QualificationsMust have at least 1 year of inspection experienceWork Environment

The work environment involves operating and maintaining machinery, attending daily meetings, and adhering to safety protocols. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $38.00/hr.
