In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
・Audit incoming materials, work in progress, and finished parts for adherence to blueprint specifications using precision measuring equipment such as gages, calipers, micrometers, and Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)
・Segregate non-conforming material and pieces, providing reasons for rejection
・Provide feedback on what is required to bring rejected parts within specifications to production team members
・Participate in 5S and Lean activities
・Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers, Materials team, and Production team to resolve quality issues

For This Role, You Will Need:
・High School Diploma or demonstrated ability to read, write, and perform mathematical calculations at a high school level in Japanese.
・Ability to accurately use precision measuring instruments such as functional gages, calipers, micrometers, depth gages 
・Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 12Kg.
・Ability to do other duties as assigned 
・Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing and ability to read blueprints, routings, and measuring equipment
・Ability to communicate effectively and work in a cooperative manner to support a team environment

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
•    Knowledge of control valves and/or process control
•    Associates Degree in any field
•    Experience operating and programming a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)
•    Knowledge of metallurgical properties or related course work
