Underwrite and supervise a portion of an Underwriter’s book of businessAssist Underwriters to develop and execute marketing plans to drive new and renewal business, including in-person agency visits, telemarketing and distributing marketing materialsRate, quote and bind each risk to determine acceptability, coverage, and pricing for large or complex renewals as well as new businessDevelop and submit underwriting referrals to company brokerage facilities and Burns & Wilcox management  Lead, train, and develop Associate Underwriters Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum 3 years of commercial lines underwriting in wholesale E & S requiredDemonstrated proficiency in sales and marketingProven organization skills and ability with a strong attention to detailInterest in continued education and professional developmentP&C Insurance license.  CPCU, CIC or comparable designations preferred
