Inside Sales Team Lead

The Inside Sales Team Lead is responsible for leading inside sales team focused on driving revenue growth for Siemens DI products and services. This role combines strategic leadership, team management, and hands-on sales planning & execution. The ideal candidate will establish inside sales team, processes & methodologies, guide and monitor team sales performance, and personally contribute to achieving individual and team targets.
What are my responsibilities?
1. Team management and development• Lead an assigned team of Inside Sales Reps and ensures adherence to sales and compliance guidelines.• Recruit, train, and manage an inside sales team to achieve targets and foster a high-performance culture.• Develop onboarding programs and ongoing training to enhance team’s product / branch knowledge and sales skills.• Implement regular team performance reviews, feedback sessions, and coaching the inside sales representatives to optimize team outputs.• Drive team activity to support the adoption and implementation of established best practice processes and procedures for creating winning Sales teams.
2. Sales planning and execution• Propose short-to-mid-term sales budgets / forecasts for the team and ensure achievements of the target setting.• Define clear team KPIs and ensure transparency through regular reviews of team performance. Compile relevant insights from reports for Sales Management and Sales Meetings.• Design, standardize and optimize inside sales processes and methodologies, including e.g., lead qualification, pipeline management, remote customer engagement and deal closing approaches.• Ensure effective use of digital tools, CRM systems, and sales automation technologies e.g. TrustIT, JingDigital, WeCom, BI report, CDP etc., for the efficiency of customer engagement, data-drive account management and performance reporting. • Achieve individual targets by developing assigned customers while overseeing team activities.• Support GM in matters of digital sales / channel strategy development, considering of existing ecosystem, and competitor information.
3. Customer and market engagement• Ensure Siemens’ value proposition is effectively communicated to customers.• Lead initiatives focused on customer retention.• Proactively bring back customer voice for optimization of DCJ platform to co-create better customer experience.
4. Internal collaboration and compliance• Ensure strong collaboration with cross-functional teams involving sales organizations.• Work closely with other digital business teams to align lead-generation campaigns, with sales domains’ strategies / policies, and with the related technical supports to resolve client issues.• Implement governance frameworks to track and enforce compliance across all sales activities.• Implement sales reporting mechanisms and performance tracking to ensure transparency in execution.• Drive best-practice sharing across sales organizations to optimize sales effectiveness.• Act as first level of escalation for respective cases and issues.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
• Bachelor's or above degree holder in Industry Automation, Mechanical, E&E, IT and so on.• 8+ years’ experience and at least 3 years in a managerial position of sales organization.• Familiar with the Siemens TIA / systems in single workflow. General knowledge in 1 ~ 2 verticals (e.g., manufacturing).• Could use the effective and respectful communication to interact with the target groups, reaching the satisfactory agreement by applying negotiating techniques, and capable to prepare and present information according to target group needs.• Experience in digital direct selling (digital sales, inside sales) is a plus.• Be accustomed to working remotely, and efficiently expand, develop and maintain customer resources through online tools and resources.• Practice Growth Mindset, self-motivated to reach extra-miles, resilient when facing challenges.• Basic English reading, writing and speaking.
