Team Overview and Job Responsibilities
The responsibilities for this role will be support multiple Specialty organizations, which will include working with our Automotive team out of Paragould, AR, and will require some intermittent travel. In this role, you will respond to all inquiries from new and established customers, process requests for quotes, enter orders, managed from inception to completion, and working with all functional areas throughout the specified Specialty or Automotive organization to ensure customer satisfaction.
What you’ll do:
Support the sale of products by partnering with Outside Sales and/or Agents to increase sales by managing quote requests, sales leads, product promotions and analysis of sales dataCould manage a minimum of 50 customer requests daily, including phone calls, e-mails, faxes, EDI and other forms of electronic communicationManage quote requests and analyze data supplied by our customer; and provide pricing and product availability in a timely fashion.Upon successful completion of training, empowered to make pricing decisions based on price guidelines, market feedback, and recommendations from Outside Sales Process orders from customers and acknowledge within posted guidelines for various Specialty markets as needed by the businessProcess customer returns and claims in a timely manner and initiate a corrective action if necessaryProvide back-up assistance and coverage for other teams as neededInterface with various departments within the company, including Shipping, Scheduling, Quality, Manufacturing, Credit, Finance, Engineering, and Product Management, in order to meet the needs of the customer and to ensure timely delivery and accurate receipt of productsReview and interpret customer specifications, applications, and terms and conditions with assistance from Engineering or MarketingContinuously develop product knowledge through internal and/or external training initiativesParticipate in cross-functional projects impacting the department and the organizationBe the voice of the customer to the Prysmian organizationWho are we looking for?
Key Requirements:
Associate or Bachelor's degree preferredAt least 2 years or more relevant work experienceExperience in sales, customer service, and/or account managementProficiency in Microsoft Office systemsAnalytical, documentation, and problem-solving skillsAbove average technical aptitude to understand product functionality, specifications, and applicationsExcellent written and verbal skillsDesire and ability to excel in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environmentMotivated both individually and on a team levelOrganizational, time management, multi-tasking, and follow-up skillsDriven to provide accuracy and excellence dailyInternational logistics experience helpfulKnowledge of Wire and Cable industry and experience in distribution environment a plusStrong leadership behaviors related to Prysmian values: Drive, Simplicity, TrustPreferred:
