This individual will have the responsibility of navigating all of SHI’s International subsidiaries to support complex multi-country Business Desk engagements. They will create quotes and process purchase orders as well as engaging in post-sale activities such as order status and support inquiries. This role reports to the Inside Sales Manager and is required to attend their local office Job Summary The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for acquiring IT solutions for small and midsize businesses, addressing customer inquiries, and ensuring exceptional service by identifying and resolving pain points with appropriate solutions. This role involves quoting and processing orders, maintaining product knowledge, and utilizing CRM and ERP tools for effective sales management and communication. The Inside Sales Representative must demonstrate strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills to retain and grow customer accounts while embodying SHI Corp Sales values. Role Description _Include, but not limited to:_ + Act as a liaison between Outside Sales, customers, and SHI’s internal departments + Create quotes for customers based on IT requirements for international locations with local sourcing + Recommend correct routes to market for international locations + Engage on large customer deals through deal registration with internal teams, vendors, and track these through our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool + Provide sourcing, product quotes, pricing, and product information to the outside sales team + Establish vendor and distribution channel partnerships via meetings and phone conversations for compliant international routes to market + Enter purchase orders and provide updates to Outside Sales and customer of order status for international business + Review and post export orders + Be proactive with problem resolution + Provide updates and information to Outside sales to ensure clean and compliant international transactions Behaviors and Competencies + Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate complex subject matter + Excellent time management skills, attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving capabilities + Proactive and critical thought process in approach to selling to enhance sales experience for client + Ability to work well in a fast paced, team environment + Excellent consultative sales skills with the ability to recommend servers, storage, networking, virtualization, cloud, and partner technologies to our customers based on their impact on the business and their interconnectivity within the IT ecosystem + Self-motivated with ability to work with limited direction and oversight + Foreign language skills beneficial Skill Level Requirements + Proficiency in providing and accepting constructive criticism - Basic + The ability to effectively utilize applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook to enhance productivity and perform various tasks efficiently. - Basic SHI UK is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, or any other legally protected status.
