Role DescriptionAs an Inside Sales Representative, you will manage and grow a portfolio of customer accounts across the EMEA region. This role is a valuable steppingstone into a commercial career at Eastman, offering autonomy, direct customer engagement, and clear growth opportunities.
Responsibilities Manage existing accounts: handle order follow-ups, complaints, credit concerns, and sample requests. Serve as the Voice of the Customer, providing feedback on product quality, performance, and service. Communicate product and service value, including pricing and credit terms. Generate sales leads through proactive outreach and territory planning. Negotiate pricing and sales terms to close business and meet sales targets. Maintain regular customer contact via phone and email, with approximately 30 face -to-face visits per year. Build strong relationships across customer organizations beyond procurement, including Operations, Technology, and Senior Leadership. Utilize consultative selling techniques and CRM tools to track opportunities and forecast sales. Analyze territory and market data to identify growth opportunities and develop account plans. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or MBA preferred. Minimum 2 years of customer-facing experience. Excellent communication skills in English; additional European languages (German, Dutch) are a plus. Strong organizational and negotiation skills with a consultative sales approach.
