Role Description
As an Inside Sales Representative, you will manage and grow a portfolio of customer accounts across the EMEA region. This role is a valuable steppingstone into a commercial career at Eastman, offering autonomy, direct customer engagement, and clear growth opportunities.
Responsibilities
+ Manage existing accounts: handle order follow-ups, complaints, credit concerns, and sample requests.
+ Serve as the Voice of the Customer, providing feedback on product quality, performance, and service.
+ Communicate product and service value, including pricing and credit terms.
+ Generate sales leads through proactive outreach and territory planning.
+ Negotiate pricing and sales terms to close business and meet sales targets.
+ Maintain regular customer contact via phone and email, with approximately 30 face -to-face visits per year.
+ Build strong relationships across customer organizations beyond procurement, including Operations, Technology, and Senior Leadership.
+ Utilize consultative selling techniques and CRM tools to track opportunities and forecast sales.
+ Analyze territory and market data to identify growth opportunities and develop account plans.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or MBA preferred.
+ Minimum 2 years of customer-facing experience.
+ Excellent communication skills in English; additional European languages (German, Dutch) are a plus.
+ Strong organizational and negotiation skills with a consultative sales approach.
