Inside Sales Representative
Responsibilities The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for day to day management and growth of their assigned customer base and territory. This individual will develop phone-based account and territory management plans, generate and support incoming sales leads, initiate prospect calls, and establish ongoing rapport with existing and potential customers. Responsibilities + Develop and utilize territory management plan + Identify and cold-call prospects + Support account managers in generating new business by creating and delivering qualified opportunities + Make outbound follow-up calls to existing customers via telephone and email cross-sell and up-sell + Support, manage, and qualify incoming leads from all sources + Service existing accounts consisting of order follow-ups; complaint handling; resolving credit concerns; sample follow ups; and other account related issues + Provide Voice of Customer feedback including product quality, performance and service issues and concerns + Effectively leverage CRM for documentation, collaboration, and analysis + Communicate the entire offering and value, including product/service features and benefits, prices, and credit terms + Provide ongoing sales demand forecasts + Negotiate business to close including pricing, sales terms and other conditions Qualifications Qualifications Competencies: + Market Insight: Leverage market insights to guide decisions and determine what is right + Courage: Make courageous choices to innovate and accelerate value creation + Optimism: Optimistically focus on continual growth over a longer-term horizon + Bias for Action: Have a bias for action, prioritizing issues and making sound decisions, despite uncertainty or risk + Adaptability: Adaptable to market and customer opportunities quickly Traits and Behaviors + Passion for Selling: understanding and shaping customer and market behavior, developing insights meaningful to customers’ success, leveraging data, and using a disciplined approach in key sales processes + Tenacious: pursues goals with energy, seldom gives up, always looks for possibilities, breaks down perceived barriers + Inquisitive: leverages the skills of questioning, resolve gaps in information, makes informed choices, and leverages experts •BS/BA in business related discipline •Previous inside sales or customer service experience, preferred •Experience with CRM and other sales systems and tools
